Kerry Lynch and Jacopo Lazzaretti (JKL Duo) are a newly formed flute and guitar duo based in Glasgow. Both are passionate artists in their solo and chamber music recital careers, aiming to present high quality yet accessible performances for all audiences

Scottish Flautist Kerry Lynch has been studying classical music since she was admitted into the Junior Conservatoire of Scotland at 12 years of age. Since then she has studied with some of the worlds most inspiring artists, and has performed in various masterclasses and festivals around the world. Kerry spends much of her time performing with various chamber ensembles, including the Flute and Oboe ‘Floboe’ with Olivia Tomasovic – who are currently working on an exciting collaboration with The Scottish Ballet Company and the Citizen M Hotel in Glasgow to compose fragments to be performed alongside a recording of The Right of Spring. Music Therapy is something which Kerry is very passionate about and uses her experiences in this field to have a holistic approach when working with her many students.

Jacopo Lazzaretti from Rome, Italy, graduated from the Conservatoire of Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2017 where he studied with Arturo Tallini and completed a Masters Degree in Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2019 under the guidance of Matthew McAllister and Professor Allan Neave. During his studies he has also performed in many masterclasses with some of the worlds most well-known guitarists. Jacopo has played in many concerts in Italy as well as abroad and won several prizes in national and international guitar competitions. He has also become an artist for ‘Live Music Now Scotland’ in January 2018.
