Inverurie Music Award Scheme Fundraising Concert – Saturday 17 June 2023 (7pm) at St Andrew’s Church, Inverurie

IMAS fundraiser feat image#

Come along to St Andrew’s Church, Inverurie on Saturday 17 June 2023 at 7pm for a bonus midsummer musical treat in support of the Inverurie Music Award Scheme. This concert aims to boost the Award Scheme fund for 2023 and it will feature music from the Nova Quartet as well as from some very talented young musicians from local schools. There will be no pre-concert ticket sales and entry to the concert will be by donation at the door – suggested amount £5-10 (using cash/card). You will have the option of buying tickets for the first ever Inverurie Music raffle which has many great prizes for you to win.

If you would like to support the cause by donating a raffle prize, please get in touch at inveruriemusic@gmail.com and we can arrange for your donation to be collected in advance.

The Award Scheme has run every year since its launch in 2019 and approximately £6,500 has been awarded to local young musicians. Funds for the scheme come entirely from the generous donations from Inverurie Music supporters and from fundraising events, and we are immensely grateful to all who have supported the scheme in the past. The Award Scheme supports young musicians who attend Alford, Kemnay, Inverurie and Meldrum Academies. They can apply for up to £200 to help with a wide range of musical activities – e.g. buying instruments and music, or paying for lessons and exam fees. More information about the Award Scheme can be found here.

We are delighted to offer this extra opportunity to enjoy some wonderful music on, hopefully, a lovely midsummer evening. Your support for the award scheme would provide a boost for our 2023 fund which will enable us to help the next generation of musicians develop their skills and talents

If you are unable to come to the concert but would like to make a donation, there are several ways you can do this. Please allow Inverurie Music to claim gift aid on your donation if you can.

Please choose one of the following options:

You can make a donation via Paypal by following this link or making a bank transfer (Account Name: Inverurie Music Sort Code: 80-08-41 Account number: 00842458).

Cash/card donations are always welcome at concerts and events. Cheque payments are also still welcome and should be made payable to Inverurie Music and given to a committe member or sent to Benview Cottage, Chapel of Garioch, Inverurie AB51 5HE.
