The Inverurie Music Concert season continues with this wonderful group of artists playing a programme of folk-inspired works. In a change from the usual weekend concerts, this concert is on Tuesday 8th November at Kemnay Village Hall.

Tickets cost £13 for non-subscribers and are free for under 25s in full-time education, and for those on disability or low-income benefits. These are available on Eventbrite here, at Butterfly Fabrics, 48 West High Street, Inverurie or at the door.

BONE-AFIDE is an international chamber ensemble made up of some of the Europe’s leading young trombonists. The group strives to showcase the versatility of the trombone, performing works from all genres and periods with the aim of defying stereotypes surrounding the instrument.

The programme is folk inspired with pieces by Kodaly, Lizst, Holst, De Falla, Calan, Bartok, Errollyn Wallen, Ponce and Piazzolla.

Hear a sample of their music and beautiful harmonies in this YouTube video.

The members of BONE-AFIDE are Robert Moseley, Angus Butt, Isobel Daws, and Merin Rhyd.
