A message for all you brass players
Our first Brass Ensemble Day will take place on Saturday 1 November.

The tutor for the day will be Hamish Wood, star trombonist, Aberdeenshire brass instructor and musical director of the Inverurie Concert Band. The group, which welcomes players of grade 3 standard and upwards, will work on a number of fun pieces in a friendly and supportive atmosphere:
Norbury: Maccabeus
McKenzie: Man from a Clan
McKenzie: Toot & Ska Men
Cabello: Havana
The venue will be Kemnay Church Centre, Church Lane, Kemnay, AB51 5QP, and the provisional programme for the day will be:
10.00 – 13.00 – tutored session (including break) followed by lunch
13.45 – 14.45 – tutored session followed by a short break
15.00 – 15.30 – performance session and depart
The cost for the day is £25 standard price or £15 for people in full-time education or on disability or low-income benefits.
