Students at Alford Academy had a visit from Lana Trotovšek and Maria Canyigueral who led a workshop for around 100 young musicians. Lana and Maria will give a concert at Inverurie Town Hall on Friday 29th March and they flew into the area early to visit local schools. They played music from their concert programme, and talked about the music, their instruments, and their musical experiences in their home countries of Slovenia and Spain, and in London where they are now based. They also answered questions from their audience who were keen to know more details.
