Following his recital at Inverurie Town Hall on 26th March 2022, Christopher Baxter will give a special recital at King’s College Chapel, Old Aberdeen on Sunday 27th March 2022 at 2.30pm.

Christopher has generously agreed to perform in this beautiful setting to raise funds for the Inverurie Music Award Scheme.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear a programme which includes new music composed by Dr Phillip Cooke, Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen.

Since its launch in 2019, the Award Scheme has benefited young musicians who attend four local Academies (Alford, Inverurie, Kemnay and Meldrum). It has provided more than £5,000 in financial support for a variety of musical activities. The scheme depends on fundraising to operate and we would be delighted if you would join us to support this event. Tickets are £12 for general admission and are free for under 25s in full-time education and for those receiving disability or low-income benefits.
