Come along to St Andrew’s Church, Inverurie on Saturday 17 June 2023 at 7pm for a bonus midsummer musical treat in support of the Inverurie Music Award Scheme. This concert aims to boost the Award Scheme fund for 2023 and it will feature music from the Nova Quartet as well as from some very talented young musicians from local schools. There will be no pre-concert ticket sales and entry to the concert will be by donation at the door – suggested amount £5-10 (using cash/card). You will have the option of buying tickets for the first ever Inverurie Music raffle which has many great prizes for you to win.

The Award Scheme has run every year since its launch in 2019 and approximately £6,500 has been awarded to local young musicians. Funds for the scheme come entirely from the generous donations from Inverurie Music supporters and from fundraising events, and we are immensely grateful to all who have supported the scheme in the past. The Award Scheme supports young musicians who attend Alford, Kemnay, Inverurie and Meldrum Academies. They can apply for up to £200 to help with a wide range of musical activities – e.g. buying instruments and music, or paying for lessons and exam fees.
