Inverurie Music Spring Update

IM logo sinopia copy

As expected, the plans for this season have changed as restrictions have continued. Sadly, the March and April concerts will not go ahead as live events, however there are still some treats in store.

Coming up in March/April 2021
Inverurie Music has joined with some other clubs in sponsoring a recorded concert by the Kowalski-Reyes Duo (cello and piano) organised by Chamber Music Scotland.

Lana Trotovšek and Maria Canyigueral (violin and piano) will also provide a recorded concert.

The Clova Quartet concert, organised by Aberdeen Chamber Music Club, is still in the pipeline but there is no date for this at present.

Later in the season
Live (socially distanced) or live-streamed events may be possible: the Maharaj Degavino Duo (flute and piano) on 29th May 2021 – rescheduled from last season and supported by the Tunnell Trust; and the Wallace Collection (brass septet) on 27th June 2021.

What do Inverurie Music Supporters think?
Small scale indoor events may be possible from 17th May but the detail of what will be permitted is not yet known. It would be extremely helpful to know how many people would be likely to wish to attend an indoor event (organised in accordance with Covid secure guidance) at the end of May. Please click on this link to complete a brief survey which will help guide our plans for this event.
