Tim Kliphuis Trio – Friday 22nd November 2019 (8pm) at the Acorn Centre, Inverurie

TK

***Please note that this concert will take place at the Acorn Centre and not the Town Hall, Inverurie as previously indicated.***

Award-winning Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis has created a brand new style that embraces classical, gypsy jazz and folk. Find out more about his music here.

The Tim Kliphuis Trio will perform an exhilarating programme at the Acorn Centre on Friday 22nd November 2019.

In 2015, The Tim Kliphuis Trio (Nigel Clark, guitar and Roy Percy, double bass) premiered Vivaldi-based ‘Reflecting the Seasons’ which was recorded on Sony Classical in 2016; and ‘Brandenburg’, based on Bach.

The concert programme includes music from ‘Reflecting the Seasons’ and from ‘Brandenburg’, as well as works by Gabriel Fauré, Clement Wells, Richard Strauss.

The programme will also feature Astor’s Dream (‘Astor’ being Ástor Piazzolla) by Tim Kliphuis – see below for a version for a larger group.

Tickets prices are £10 for standard entry, £1 for children and students, and they can be obtained from Eventbrite. Alternatively, buy them at the Acorn Centre from 5th November onwards, or email inveruriemusic@gmail.com to reserve your tickets, or get them at the door (doors open 7.30pm).
