At the start of this season, it was not at all clear how Inverurie Music would provide the concert series planned. As live concerts are not yet possible due to COVID-19 restrictions, much work has gone into planning alternative ways of delivering music and this work has now proved to be successful.

Inverurie Music has collaborated with other music clubs in Scotland, and with artists and film makers, to arrange high quality video recordings of concerts to take the place of live events.

Access to these recordings can be obtained by subscribing to Inverurie Music as a member, or by joining the email subscribers list. Non-members are being asked to provide a donation to help cover the costs of the recordings.

The Maxwell Quartet concert, which opened the season, is now available and the review of the concert and details of the programme can be found here.

Inverurie Music is extremely grateful to those who have subscribed and/or donated to Inverurie Music this season. It’s great to know that there is support for the plan to arrange recorded concerts until live concerts can return.

Subscriptions this year have been set at the low cost of £20 per member and £4 for children/students. A membership subscription will allow admission/access to all concerts in the season.
